Q

Why can i no longer access Lange's Pocket Guide to diagnostic tests on Access Medicine?

I am a PA student and need to us this book on access medicine. I used it last week and it worked fine. I tried using it today and it says part way down the page i need to purchase a subcription for $995 to read the book. I double checked and made sure i was logged on and i was and it is still saying i dont have access to it. I have an assignment due that i need to use this book for right away. how do we fix this?

Hello Chantel,

I'm sorry you are having trouble getting into Access Medicine. It states on the database page, "In order to make use of the mobile site, users need to register for a My AccessMedicine profile from any on-site computer.  Once they have done so, they will be able to log on to the mobile site using their My AccessMedicine username and password."

You state that you used it before and checked your log-in.  Could a classmate try to see if he/she could get in?  I will forward your question to our electronic resources librarian, but she will probably not reply until Monday.  Wish I could help you more...
