I am having trouble finding sources in the database for my topic for an essay. My topic is how standardized testing negatively affect students and I am struggling at finding scholarly sources to back up my topic. Is there any way anyone could guide me in the right direction or help me figure out how to find articles or journals based on that topic?

Hello Nell,Have you tried ERIC and/or PsycArticles?  They are under the subscription databases (library main page, FIND, databases, Subscription).  Use the term standardized tests.  When you find an article close to what you were looking for, look at the subjects that article was indexed with.  You then could pair it up with another term. For example, you could search standardized tests and behavior, or attitudes, etc.

If you need more assistance, please come to the library and we would be happy to work with you.
