Q. Can I show YouTube videos in the classroom?

Answer

Showing YouTube videos in the classroom via a Mercyhurst computer and projector is allowed. Please see YouTube's Terms of Service. Especially sections 4C and 4E. Also note that many colleges and universities have their own YouTube Channels.

What is not allowed is using certain software applications to copy (aka "rip") the YouTube video and transfer it to another format or medium.
